Yamato Santoku Knife
The Yamato Santoku Knife is an all-purpose chef's knife, perfect for meat, vegetables and fish.
Santoku bocho knives, which translates as 'three uses', are ideal for mincing, dicing and slicing, as they feature a straight edge with a narrow sheep's foot blade. These knives have evolved from the traditional Japanese vegetable knife which has a rectangular blade.
Shizu Hamono's Yamato knives feature double-edged blades for either left or right-handed users, hammered to allow the easy release of food during cutting.
The handle is made of reinforced laminated wood that is easy to grip and tough against water.
