D2 Ruin Object
This piece has been produced by 3D scanning the D2 ring to capture the unique textures and undulations of the original piece. A great piece for your home as a standalone heavy sculptural object.
Each Surface Cast object is hand-poured in small batches using a custom blend of concrete, pigments, resin, and locally sourced sands. The casting process invites natural variation-subtle shifts in texture, tone, and surface markings-that give each piece its own unique character. These organic irregularities are expressions of the material’s raw beauty and the maker’s hands. No two objects are exactly alike, making every Surface Cast creation a true one-of-a-kind.
