Festive Grazing

In our home good food is one of the loves of our life! The act of preparing and offering healthy, home made food to family & friends comes with the intention of nurturing and caring for them and their well being. At this time of year, informal gatherings are an opportunity to have some fun with the beautiful stone fruit, berries, vegetables, and fresh herbs that are abundant, and create nutrient dense finger food that is easy to eat with one hand while standing up!  By adding ingredients with combinations of the different tastes - salty, sweet, sour, bitter and umami, single fruits or vegetables can be easily transformed into mouth melting morsals.   Good quality olives, and spicy activated nuts also make easy, nutritious nibbles with plenty of health benefits.

It’s always good to include some hydrating drinks to the table too.  We have been loving our Iced Refresh Tea with lime and mint … occasionally  with a little drop of botanical gin.

Here's a little preview of some of our grazing plates at our recent Shack Palace team get together. …
