Traditional Nagaland Table
Nagaland sits in the north-eastern region of India, where the Naga hills rise from the Brahmaputra Valley. These striking, solid teak were once used as a bed in a traditional Naga village, built to withstand the harsh monsoon seasons and strong winds that blew across the hills. These tables are at least 70 years old and were handcrafted from a single piece of teak. They have since been polished in a beautiful natural wax to protect the longevity of the timber.
